He wasn’t born on the streets. You could tell.
Once, he had a name. Once, he had a home.
But when he grew old — when his muzzle turned grey and his body slowed — someone decided he wasn’t worth keeping anymore.
So they left him.
Blind. Frail. Starving. Wandering the streets of Chișinău, utterly alone.
We found him in Dumbrava — skeletal, disoriented, terrified.
He hadn’t been street-wise. He had been a house dog — a purebred spaniel, once cherished. And now? Abandoned without a second thought.
This is the reality here.
In a country where life is hard enough for people, the lives of animals are too often dismissed. When they become old, sick, or inconvenient — they are simply thrown away.
But we believe: no animal is disposable. No life is worthless.
So we brought this brave old boy into our care.
